Here, at Farmhouse Acres, just outside of Parker, Colorado, we breed & raise QUALITY mohair-growing Angora & Nigora goats.
Our breeding program is focused on improving both goat breeds in their confirmation, temperment & hand-spinning quality mohair fiber. We are also partial to blue eyes.
We have White Angora goats that are registered with the American Angora Goat Breeders Assoc
We have Color Carrier White CAGBA Registered Goats
We have Colored Angora goats that are ALL now Registered with the Colored Angora Goat Breeders Association, either by inspection, or pedigree.
Our Nigora goats are a a recent interest after discovering the light, soft & fine colored fiber they produce. The Nigora goats are a cross between the Angora and the Nigerian Dwarf (miniature dairy goat with terrific temperment & lots of colors). We have a beautiful blue-eyed, '09 ND buck that we just added to the herd for breeding the F1 Nigora. See Nelson's picture in the Nigora Photo Album.
We have our alpaca's for "protection" of our goats and of course, we enjoy their beautiful fleeces.
We sell:
White & naturally colored Mohair fleeces, Hand-Spun Mohair & Alpaca yarn, Hand-Knitted Mohair / Alpaca products, Registered White Angora Goats, Registered Colored Angora Goats & Nigora Goats.
SERVICES OFFERED:
Our bucks are available for breeding fee of $60.
GOAT SALES POLICY:
We ask for a 50% deposit when reserving a goat for purchase with the balance due upon pick-up.
We like to keep kids on their moms 3 - 4 months.
